Hi, I'm Larry — the Dungeon Master behind this blog. My journey with Dungeons & Dragons began in childhood, and like many great stories, it had its ups and downs. I was first introduced to 3rd Edition playing with my family, but an early character death left me frustrated and I stepped away for a while. Years later, I came back with a renewed passion and have since run over 15 campaigns. Through every adventure, I’ve grown as a DM and built this site to share what I’ve learned — from homebrewing subclasses and worlds to reviewing tools like D&D Beyond and offering practical advice for fellow players and storytellers.

Outside of D&D, I’m a huge fan of cartoons and anime. I grew up with Saturday morning classics like Dexter’s Lab, The Amazing World of Gumball, Pokemon, and Digimon, all while downing bowls of cereal. Anime-wise, I dove deep into the Big 3 — Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece — and expanded my love for the medium with titles like Death Note and Monster. (Though let’s be real — Boruto and the latest Bleach arcs just aren’t it.) I’ve even hit up anime conventions to soak it all in. These influences inspire my creativity, and I love blending that energy into the worlds I build.
